The offer
The 14-Day AI Audit
Fourteen days that decide what your shop actually needs, before anyone asks you to buy a build. Fixed price, quoted before it starts, and the document at the end is yours whatever you do next.
What it is
An assessment, not a pitch
Most AI conversations start with a product and work backwards to a problem. This one starts with your last ninety days and works forwards. For fourteen days we read what your business actually did, sit through a morning board, and come back with every place the work repeats itself, ranked by what fixing it is worth.
Nothing is deployed during the audit. Nothing is deployed after it either, until the number it has to move is agreed. The audit is the thing that makes that conversation possible, because until someone has read your jobs, your calls and your invoices, every figure in the room is a guess.
It is deliberately the first and smallest commitment we ask for. Fourteen days is long enough to be worth reading and short enough that being wrong about us costs you a fortnight, not a year.
The inputs
What we look at
Four things, and all of them are yours. We do not need access to anything we have not named here, and we say in writing what we looked at.
- 01
The last ninety days of jobs, calls and invoices
Your own records, not a benchmark and not an industry average. Ninety days is long enough to show what repeats and short enough to still be the business you are running now.
- 02
A full morning board
We sit through one, start to finish. What gets moved, who argues with it, which promise to a customer decides the order. This is the part a questionnaire cannot reach.
- 03
The tools already in use
The CRM, the scheduling board, the phone system, the accounting. What they already do, what they nearly do, and where someone is retyping between them.
- 04
Where the work repeats
After-hours calls, quote chasing, job data entry, notes, renewals, reviews, parts. Ten places the week tends to leak, checked against your week rather than a generic one.
The deliverable
What comes back on day 14
One document, written in plain language, structured so the first page is the decision and the rest is the evidence behind it.
Every candidate, ranked by payback
Not a list of what is technically possible. An order, with the reasoning for the order written down, so you can disagree with it on the evidence rather than on the vendor.
Each line costed
What it costs to build and what it costs to run each month. A candidate whose running cost eats its own saving is marked as one.
The number each one has to move
Booked jobs, answered calls, days to invoice, whichever applies. Named before anything is built, with its baseline from your own ninety days.
The candidates we recommend against
With the reason. A shop that does something four times a month does not need it automated, and the report says so rather than quietly leaving it out.
A document you own
You can act on it with us, with someone else, or on your own. It is not a proposal with the useful parts held back.
The boundary
What the audit is not
It is not a software recommendation. We build into the CRM, scheduling board and phone system already in use. If the right answer is a change of tooling we will tell you, but it is not the default and it is not what we sell.
It is not a deck. No maturity curve, no market context, no slide about what AI is. You know your business; the report is about it, not about the category.
It is not a retainer in disguise. The audit is quoted and paid as its own piece of work. Deployment is quoted per candidate afterwards, off the audit’s own findings, so nobody is pricing against work that has not been scoped.
It is not guaranteed to find something. If nothing in your operation is worth automating, the report says so and the engagement ends there. A shop with five trucks and no repetition is a bad fit, and we would rather find that in the first fortnight than in month six.
Afterwards
What happens on day 15
Whatever you decide. The common path is that one or two candidates from the top of the list get built in the weeks after, into the tools you already run, with the agreed number baselined on day one and reported against monthly.
The people who did the audit are the people who do that work. We do not hand off to a delivery team you have not met, which is also why we do not take on more audits than we can build out of.
And if the answer is that you take the document and do nothing with it this quarter, that is a legitimate outcome of a fourteen-day assessment. You still own it.
